The CF8 is the latest 80-metre yacht concept by Dutch studio Sea Level Yacht Design.
Featuring such an innovative design that looks completely new and unexpected, CF8 stands for ‘Cars and Family in 80 metres’, and is meant for owners who need a great amount of storage space for luxury cars.
The hull and superstructure, jointed inextricably with a line that goes from the aft upper part to the bow have a unique and untraditional aerodynamic shape: such shape carries a huge glass almond which is the centre of the yacht.
Design Director Jeroen van der Knaap explains: “For this element Sea Level found inspiration in the showroom of Louwman Exclusive Cars in the Netherlands. This showroom is captured in a remarkable five kilometres long sound barrier along the highway, built out of glass panels. A centre volume with a skin built out of glass would give Sea Level a great opportunity to bring light into the living spaces and a unique chance to accommodate a car collection that can be admired by people passing by.”
The car showroom in the glass centre of the vessel houses up to eight luxury cars within its 100sqm.
Other amenities on board include a large swimming pool which can be transformed into a dance floor, a helipad, a spa and a gym, a stage for private shows, and a cinema.
Accommodation is provided for up to 12 guests in eight luxurious VIP cabins with en-suite facilities. The owner’s suite is located on a 250sqm dedicated deck hosting also an eight person Jacuzzi. An 18-member crew will also be hosted on board to take care of guests and owners.
The vessel will also have plenty of room (over 200sqm) to store tenders and water toys, such as two 10-metre tenders, four Waverunners, and a DeepFlight Dragon personal submarine.
She will be able to reach a top speed of 18 knots, with a range of 5,000 nautical miles.
