The Italian yacht builder Perini Navi has recently unveiled their latest sailing yacht concept, a 47-metre fast cruising sloop designed by the in-house team led by Franco Romani.
The new design includes several innovative features. A new lifting centreboard concept lowers the draft from 9.5 metres to 3.9 metres. An onboard power storage system, wich the 70-metre Sybaris and 38-metre Dahlak have already been fitted with, is also present in the new concept vessel to power some sail handling systems when underway.
The flybridge features a continuous glass window allowing for excellent views of the surrounding landscape. The flybridge leads to a dual level aft deck offering a safe cockpit when sailing, and a generous beach deck space when at anchor. The foredeck, housing the yacht’s tender, may be covered by a bimini so to have additional outdoor relaxation areas onboard for owners and guests.
