PROtect tapes, new challenges and usual victories

After victories by its clients in the most prestigious boat races held in September, PROtect tapes continues its commitment on many fronts during the month of October as well.
At the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup, the protective solutions by PROtect have been used by almost all the fleet in competition in Porto Cervo. The Maxis used products from the lines Chafe, Mask and Headfoil, that protect the deck and rig fittings, and the line Interior to best protect even the precious and refined interiors during the race. Significant in particular the choice of PROtect tapes by the whole Maxi 72 fleet, who sailed in the Costa Smeralda for the 72 Rolex Maxi World Championship, won by Bella Mente at the photo finish on Robertissima III.
On October 17-18, the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series in Bermuda Islands will see the new membranes Winglar, specific for wingsails and double-sided high tenacity adhesives, used or tested by some of the team in attendance, including Team Groupama France, which recently succefully defended her success in the Little Cup with the C-Class catamarans.
In Europe, more precisely from Le Havre, the Transat Jacques Vabre, double-handed transatlantic race to Itajai, Brazil, will start on October 25. In this kind of competition the reliability of the boat is the skipper’s primary concern, many of whom rely on solutions from PROtect tapes.
