Vanquish Yachts started building two new tenders, the 16.6-metre VQ54s, whose design has been unveiled at the latest edition of the Monaco Yacht Show.
Featuring design by Guido de Groot and naval architecture by Studio Delta, the new tender is based on the previous VQ48 model. Bold and eye-catching lines draw a dynamic appearance for the new VQ54.
The most important and innovative feature of the new VQ54 is her ability to carry a boat: the tender will in fact host a fast Williams 285 Turbojet in its own transom tender garage. The additional Williams tender can be used for wakeboarding on the open sea and to access even narrow quays.
The tender can accommodate guests onboard across a comfortable double bedroom and fully working galley, including a spacious shower room with toilet. On deck there is a large equipped kitchen with, which is ideal for al fresco dining. Shade is created with the aid various bimini systems.
Storage space onboard allows to host substantial refrigerators, diving equipment and water toys.
Equipped with the award-winning MAN i6-800 in-line six-cylinder engines, and powered by surface drives, the VQ54 can reach an impressive speed of 45 knots. Alongside with speed, the tender ensures manoeuvrability and onboard dryness even in rough seas and high winds.
The first of the two VQ54 tenders has already been sold to an Ibiza-based client.
