The Turkish shipyard Tansu Yachts has recently signed a new contract for its 34.6-metre Mission Class yacht. The new yacht, known under the name of project CV114, will start construction at the shipyard’s facilities in Istanbul. The owner, a world renowned master craftsman and a long time fan of the yard, will hopefully have his yacht delivered in 2019.
Like several previous projects built by Tansu Yachts, CV114 will feature naval architecture and engineering by the Dutch studio Diana Yacht Design, while her characteristic exterior and interior design has been developed in-house by Tansu Yachts.
The 34.6-metre Mission Class yacht project feature an expansive aft deck designed to carry an 8-metre Rupert Marine R8 tender, as well as a fleet of other water toys and equipment. CV114 will have a range of 3,000 nm at the cruising speed of 10 knots, with an expected top speed of 16 knots.
Other projects under development at Tansu Yachts include the 38.4 metre Highlight, which is currently undergoing sea trials. In September 2016, the shipyard has received an order for a new 39m Cuda Class Superyacht: Project Thunderbolt.
