Lies Sol joins Northrop & Johnson

lies sol charter industryA Dutch national, Lies Sol has an insider’s knowledge of the luxury yacht charter industry. For more than a decade she worked on sailing and power yachts from 70 to 140 feet as chef, chief stew and PADI dive instructor. Throughout her on-water career Lies cruised Papua New Guinea, the Caribbean, Florida, The Bahamas, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the seas around Phuket.

Since moving ashore, Lies has held positions at the Phuket King’s Cup and Phang Nga Bay regattas, SEA Yachting magazine, Phuket’s iconic Boathouse resort and in yacht charter management. Lies has lived in Thailand since 1989, is a board member of the Thai Yachting Business Association (TYBA), a Bikram Yoga teacher and likes to sing and go racing with her sailing friends.

Lies’s extensive yachting industry experience, her vast network of contacts and her positive attitude make her an asset to the Thailand office and Northrop & Johnson global team.
