Johnson Yachts has recently delivered its largest model to date, the 34.14-metre motor yacht Mitan. The yacht was sold to an American client in May 2017 by Gilman Yachts and launched in November in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

Built from a GRP hull and superstructure, she features in-house naval architecture and exterior lines from Dixon Yacht Design.

Outdoor relaxation spaces include a large superyacht sundeck shaded by a custom hardtop Bimini with tender storage space back aft, complete with a 900kg davit crane and room for two Wave Runners as well as a RIB.

The sheltered aft deck allows for al fresco meals, while the foredeck sunpads are situated above the master suite and accessed by a small ladder.

Mitan has great sportfishing potential with an enclosed cockpit just forward of the bathing platform, while the adjacent dive room has been fitted with a compressor.

Accommodation is provided for up to 14 guests across 6 staterooms. The master suite is located on the main deck, guests are accommodated in a double cabin and 4 convertible twin rooms, with Pullman berths in two of them. The crew quarters sleep up to 4 people across 2 cabins.

Power comes from a pair of 1,925hp Caterpillar ACERT diesel engines for a top speed of 23 knots and zero-speed ABT stabilisers will ensure a comfortable night at anchor. Vital statistics include a 7.2-metre beam and a maximum draught of just 2.08 metres, which is ideal for exploring shallow cruising grounds.
